How reviews work

Anyone with a Pinnora account can review Pinnora, once. You write your review in the app, under Settings, then Support, then Rate Pinnora, and it appears on this page as soon as you publish it. You can change it or delete it there at any time, and a review changed after it was first published is marked as edited.

A review shows your rating from one to five stars, an optional title, what you wrote, and the day you wrote it. It is signed with your first name and the initial of your last name. Your e-mail address, your account number and everything else about your account are never shown.

Every published review counts towards the average and the spread of ratings at the top of this page. The list shows the newest first; you can sort it by date or by rating, or show only the reviews with a given number of stars. No review is pinned to the top or left out of the figures.

What “Verified customer” means

Because only an account holder can write a review here, every review written on Pinnora comes from somebody with an account. Some of them carry a Verified customer badge. It means the account the review belongs to has a verified identity and has made at least one deposit that completed — in other words, that the reviewer has used Pinnora with their own money.

The badge is worked out each time this page is shown, from the account as it stands at that moment. It is not something a reviewer can choose, and there is no switch that gives it to a review. A review without it comes from an account that has not yet verified its identity or completed a deposit, or was shared with us another way.

Reviews shared with us another way

Some customers tell us what they think by e-mail, on WhatsApp, on Trustpilot, by phone or in person. With their permission, and only with it, we may publish what they said here. Such a review keeps the day the customer gave it to us and is labelled with where it came from, for example “Shared with us by e-mail”, so you can always tell it apart from one written on Pinnora.

When a review is taken down

We never remove a review for being negative, for a low rating or for criticising us. A review is taken off this page for one of four reasons only:

  • It is abusive. Threats, insults and hateful language towards anyone.
  • It contains personal data. Somebody’s full name, address, phone number, account details or anything else that identifies them.
  • It is spam. Advertising for other products or services, or text that is not a review at all.
  • It is not about Pinnora. A review has to be about using Pinnora.

If we take your review down, you see which reason applied when you open it in the app, and the decision is recorded. Changing it, or deleting it and writing a new one, does not put it back: it stays off this page until we look at it again and publish it. If you think we got it wrong, open a support ticket and we will look at it again.

Our replies

We may answer a review in public. Our answer appears under it, marked “Response from Pinnora” with the date we wrote it. If the review is yours, we let you know in the app when we reply, and by e-mail unless you have turned those e-mails off. A reply never changes your review: what you wrote stays exactly as you wrote it.

Closing your Pinnora account deletes your review with it. To ask about a review, or to have one removed that you can no longer reach, e-mail support@mypinnora.com.
