An experience to consider.

I find the overall concept of Pinnora useful and easy to understand. I would encourage others to read the terms carefully and see whether it suits their needs. When it comes to member transfers, I like being able to review the relevant information in one place. I also think it is important to understand that returns and outcomes can vary.

My experience with Pinnora has been positive so far. I like the overall idea, although I would welcome even clearer explanations in a few places. The option of reviewing savings plans and their terms is useful, though the experience has not been perfect. I prefer to make decisions after checking the information for myself.

Several tools in one place.

For context, my main focus has been checking the fees, rates and conditions before proceeding. Pinnora feels practical when I want to compare services without switching platforms. I can see the value, though I think some screens and explanations could be improved. I value straightforward communication when money is involved.

How reviews work

Anyone with a Pinnora account can review Pinnora, once. You write your review in the app, under Settings, then Support, then Rate Pinnora, and it appears on this page as soon as you publish it. You can change it or delete it there at any time, and a review changed after it was first published is marked as edited.

How reviews work on Pinnora: an account holder writes one review in the app under Settings, Support, Rate Pinnora, choosing one to five stars; it is published straight away, and can be changed or deleted at any time, marked as edited.
Any account holder can review Pinnora once, in the app. It appears here straight away, signed with a first name and last initial, and can be changed or deleted at any time.

A review shows your rating from one to five stars, an optional title, what you wrote, and the day you wrote it. It is signed with your first name and the initial of your last name. Your e-mail address, your account number and everything else about your account are never shown.

Beside your name the page shows your initials, or a photo of you if you choose to add one in Rate Pinnora; you can take the photo off there at any time. Every review also has a page of its own that you can share. Readers can say whether a review was useful, once from each browser, and each review shows how many times it has been seen, counting each browser once a day.

Every published review counts towards the Pinnora rating at the top of this page: the average and the spread of ratings. The list shows the newest first, twenty to a page, and the links under it lead to every page of older reviews; you can also sort it by date or by rating, or show only the reviews with a given number of stars. No review is pinned to the top or left out of the figures.

What “Verified customer” means

Because only an account holder can write a review here, every review written on Pinnora comes from somebody with an account. Some of them carry a Verified customer badge. It means the account the review belongs to has a verified identity and has made at least one deposit that completed — in other words, that the reviewer has used Pinnora with their own money.

What the Verified customer badge on a Pinnora review means: the reviewer's account has a verified identity and at least one completed deposit; it is worked out each time the page is shown and cannot be switched on by anyone.
The badge means the reviewer's account has a verified identity and a completed deposit. It is worked out each time the page is shown, and nobody can switch it on.

The badge is worked out each time this page is shown, from the account as it stands at that moment. It is not something a reviewer can choose, and there is no switch that gives it to a review. A review without it comes from an account that has not yet verified its identity or completed a deposit, or was shared with us another way.

Reviews shared with us another way

Some customers tell us what they think by e-mail, on WhatsApp, on Trustpilot, by phone or in person. With their permission, and only with it, we may publish what they said here. Such a review keeps the day the customer gave it to us and is labelled with where it came from, for example “Shared with us by e-mail”, so you can always tell it apart from one written on Pinnora.

When a review is taken down

We never remove a review for being negative, for a low rating or for criticising us. A review is taken off this page for one of four reasons only:

  • It is abusive. Threats, insults and hateful language towards anyone.
  • It contains personal data. Somebody’s full name, address, phone number, account details or anything else that identifies them.
  • It is spam. Advertising for other products or services, or text that is not a review at all.
  • It is not about Pinnora. A review has to be about using Pinnora.
The only four reasons Pinnora takes a review down — it is abusive, it contains personal data, it is spam, or it is not about Pinnora — and never for being negative, a low rating or criticising Pinnora.
A review is taken down only if it is abusive, contains personal data, is spam or is not about Pinnora. Never for being negative or for a low rating.

If we take your review down, you see which reason applied when you open it in the app, and the decision is recorded. Changing it, or deleting it and writing a new one, does not put it back: it stays off this page until we look at it again and publish it. If you think we got it wrong, open a support ticket and we will look at it again.

A photo beside a review has rules of its own, which Rate Pinnora shows before you choose one: it has to be a photo of you, with nobody else in it, no personal details such as an address or a card number, no advertising and nothing offensive. We take down a photo that breaks one of them and tell its author which; the review stays, with their initials beside it, and they can choose another photo.

Is Pinnora legit?

Make up your own mind from what customers say. Every review on these pages was written by a Pinnora account holder or shared with us by a customer who agreed to its publication, and every one is published whatever its rating, with the day it was written and where it came from. The average at the top counts all of them.

Pinnora is provided by Pinnora Technologies Limited, a company registered in Germany with its address in Berlin; the legal notice gives its details and about Pinnora says who runs it. How your account is protected is on the security page.

Our replies

We may answer a review in public. Our answer appears under it, marked “Response from Pinnora” with the date we wrote it. If the review is yours, we let you know in the app when we reply, and by e-mail unless you have turned those e-mails off. A reply never changes your review: what you wrote stays exactly as you wrote it.

Closing your Pinnora account deletes your review with it. To ask about a review, or to have one removed that you can no longer reach, e-mail helpdesk@mypinnora.com.
